About Pheobe Cowdery
Phoebe Cowdery, is a Creative Producer and Curator who lives in Canowindra NSW. Phoebe co-founded The Corridor Project in 2011, a not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation sited on Wiradjuri country in the Central West NSW, Australia. With 30+ years on the ‘arts-field’, she began her creative training at the National Art School Sydney [formally East Sydney Technical College] and holds a BA [Hons] in Design from the University of Technology Sydney. As curator and partnership developer Phoebe enables artists and the community to explore and develop new work through an annual program involving artist residencies, cross-cultural collaborations, workshops, exhibitions, and events. She actively seeks natural environments to develop programs that support action on environmentalism stimulated by peer to peer exchange and professional skills development. Currently she represents The Corridor Project as a Board Director and contributes to public industry panels, and is a member of the Inspiring Australia Executive Committee NSW.
